Dr. Travis Zigler is a recovering optometrist turned successful ecommerce entrepreneur since 2015. Dr. Travis and his wife, Dr. Jenna Zigler founded Eye Love, and sold it in 2021.

Due to the success of Eye Love, other Amazon sellers started asking Dr. Travis to help them grow their businesses. That led to the creation of the Profitable Pineapple Ads Agency.

For the past four years, Dr. Travis and his team of ad experts have helped brand owners profitably scale their businesses on and off Amazon.

ZIGLER’S JOURNEY

OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

My wife, Dr. Jenna Zigler and I started our first brand on Amazon in 2015 with a sunglasses company. Within two years, we grew that business to $2 Million, and decided to sell our 2 optometry practices and go full-time online by 2018.

We then pivoted our business to create a natural and holistic dry eye company that grew to over $1 Million and our Eye Love brand to $3.4 Million in revenue.

OUR BOOK + SCALING SUCCESS

By 2019, we launched our book, “Rethinking Dry Eye Treatment” and started growing our audience significantly.

As an e-commerce business owner, I had worked with 4 ad agencies in my ecom brand, and realized that the system was broken. So I developed my own successful traffic system for my Eye Love business.

At this point, other business owners started asking us to help them build their brand too. We onboarded our first 2 clients into the agency, who are still with us today (one brand grew from $100k per year to $2.5 million per year, and the other grew from $3 million a year in revenue to $7.5 million a year.

HUGE TURN OF EVENTS

With the massive growth of 2019, we also faced extreme adversity and heartache with the loss of our son, and a huge financial loss of $631,000 from a Ponzi scheme from someone who I thought was my friend, coach, and mentor.

Thankfully, 2020 was a better year of wins. We were honored to make the Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies. We grew our Eye Love business to $4 million in revenue and had a list of followers close to 150,000. Interest grew for an

acquisition of Eye Love, and we found a strategic buyer that would allow us to stay on for a financially freeing exit.

CONTINUOUS GROWTH

By 2021, we hired our 3rd team member in Profitable Pineapple Ads, who helped us scale with systems to $1.2 million in revenue. And then in 2022, we scaled Profitable Pineapple to $1.7 million in revenue, while hiring a total of 10 US based ad experts.

In addition to being on the Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies, we have received two Clickfunnels 2 Comma Club Awards, became a Zipify Million Dollar Merchant, and we received a Silver Pineapple Award for donating over $100,000 to charities.

In my free time, I love to play the ukulele and the bass guitar, run marathons, play Pickleball, speak on stages around the word, and do mission trips to help people restore their sight with our nonprofit business, Eye Believe Foundation.
